Private, by DM

01 The problem

The first message to a stranger is the hard part.

Intro threads and profile bios make you open cold: a pitch about yourself, to someone you know almost nothing about. Most conversations stall before they start.

02 The solution

Start with a song instead.

Every member keeps a Top 5, and a radio plays those songs one person after another. When a song gets you, you know who picked it, and you can tell them why. The conversation happens in private, in a DM.

  1. 01A radio made of members' Top 5 songs
  2. 02Likes that let someone know their pick landed
  3. 03Private messages, with requests from people you haven't talked to yet
  4. 04Your own setting for who can message you, by audience and age range

Try Dayoff.
